Once you've registered as an Early Bird, event booking times are determined by membership level and exhibitor level. Times are assigned based on:
- Premium Membership
- Top 50 exhibitors based on sponsorship and booth size
- AmericanHort Plus and Basic members
- All non-AmericanHort members.
No, all registrants within each category (Premium Members; Top 50 exhibitors; AmericanHort Plus and Basic members; Non-AmericanHort members) can book your hotels on a first-come, first-serve basis on the date specified in your hotel booking email. Dates have been assigned and prioritized based on membership and to alleviate overwhelming system congestion experienced in previous years.
You can become an AmericanHort member or upgrade your membership for hotel-booking priority during the Cultivate registration process.
Unfortunately, it's impossible for us to guarantee all 10,000 attendees their first hotel room of choice. We do have blocks of rooms set aside for each group of registrants. Registering as an Early Bird gives you the best opportunity for securing your top hotel pick. Please remember that since hotels have limited space, opportunity does not guarantee final outcome.
We've created a two-step process to eliminate the system congestion that causes long wait times and any potential of slowed-down computer systems. Plus, a specific time to book your hotel lets you know exactly when you'll be able to complete your hotel bookings without needing to disrupt your whole day just to do so.
Not at all! You'll still be able to register for Cultivate at the same prices as early-bird registrants and reserve a hotel room. There may be fewer hotel choices, but great rooms will still be available.
Register anytime before June 20 for the best rates. Rates will increase after June 20. (See rates and registration packages here).
Absolutely. Please note: only 15 rooms per hotel can be booked by the same company at each of the following hotels: Hilton, Hyatt, and Crowne Plaza. Only one person per company at a time can book multiple hotel rooms.
Registrations are typically transferrable, but they are not completely refundable. If you choose to cancel your registration before June 20, you will be given a 50% refund (may take 4-6 weeks to process). No refunds are available if you choose to cancel your registration after June 20. All cancellation requests must be emailed to Cultivate@AmericanHort.org.
Yes, you can upgrade your package at any time and also add on additional experiences like tours, workshops, and CareerUP.
